Lucayra reviews listings before they go live, but renting directly from an owner still means doing your own homework. A few things to keep in mind:
Never send money before confirming everything

View the property in person
Whenever possible, see the property yourself (or have someone you trust see it) before committing to anything.
Meet in a safe, public way
If you're meeting the owner or manager for the first time, prefer daytime and a location where you feel comfortable.
Report anything that feels off
If a listing seems inaccurate, misleading, or suspicious, use the “Report this listing” link on the listing page.
